A contemporary re-telling of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet with fantastic music by Leonard Bernstein. We look forward to seeing a wide variety of ages, ethnicities, talents and strengths at auditions. Come on out for auditions and enjoy the fantastic music of West Side Story!

West Side Story Callback Information

Location:  The Recreation Station (A Bourbonnais Township Park District facility)  770 E. Franklin St., Bradley

Dance Workshop – You will have two opportunities!
Tuesday, March 13th  – Women – 7:00 PM to 8:15 PM, Men – 8:15 PM to 9:30 PM and/or
Friday March 16th – Women –  6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Men – 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM
Please wear appropriate dance attire and footwear.

Callbacks – Sunday March 18th – 2:00

Cannot make audition dates?  Please fill out the audition form above and send a video recording of yourself singing one of the initial audition songs and dancing the audition piece from the video above. to sharonactingout@gmail.com  – if you cannot attend callbacks please send line and vocal selections from callback info as well. Please submit by March 16th.

Read Thru – April 6, 2018

Rehearsals: Dance dates- Guys: April 7-8, 21-22, May 5-6, May 19.  Girls: April 14-15, May 6, May 19.
Vocal and blocking rehearsals will begin in late May.

Show dates are July 20, 21, 22, Rain-dates – July 23, 24

For the initial audition please choose two from the songs listed below.
Everyone will be given the opportunity to perform one selection.  The directors may or may not ask for your second selection.
Callbacks will include character readings and pairings. Lines, and vocal selections for callbacks are listed below.
