As You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown comes to a close,
we at Acting Out Theatre Co. find ourselves very thankful for the loving community that we live in.
We certainly enjoyed our time at Lil’s Park and appreciate the Village of Bradley’s small town hospitality!
Terry Memenga, Bradley’s Director of Public Works was our go to guy & helped make this partnership go smoothly, “you made our stay at Lil’s Park very enjoyable & we thank you.”
To the Village of Bradley Mayors, Bruce Adams and Mike Watson and Village Board, thank you for welcoming us.
The Bradley Police and Fire Departments visited us nightly to keep us all safe, we really appreciate your service to the community.
The River Valley Metro brought the a “Cooling Bus” on Friday night for our guests to cool off if needed, how “cool’ is that!!
Thanks to the Village of Manteno & Bourbonnais Township Park District for lending us generators to run our show and Peanuts Party, and to Pete Scheil & Eric Penrod for knowing about and helping to run said generators!
Amanda LaLuna Chorak and her crew went above and beyond to make the children’s area of the Peanuts Party spectacular, thank you, thank you!
Many thanks to King Music and Joy’s Hallmark who always say yes to selling tickets for us and are a valuable resource yearly,
We are also thankful to be able to “give back” to the community. We raised over $1000 to give to Hospice of Kankakee Valley’s Good Grief Camp from our Happiness is…Rock Project.
We really do have the best sponsors, members, & audience members around.
Thank you for believing in us.
And of course to our cast and crew, “There is no team like the best team, which is our team right here!”
For us, “Happiness is…” the gift we are able to present to our community each July.
“See you in the funny papers!” ~ Julie
