We are in full swing dance mode! Our first mixed rehearsal working with Jets and Sharks together is in the books! Dance at the Gym is definitely going to be one of the highlights of the show. The talent in this cast is unbelievable and it shows in this number.
You’ve never seen guys that can walk and snap any better. Of course they’re doing far more than that though!
Teaching these Jets and Sharks how to pas de chat, battement, pirouette and sissone has been such a treat and they are picking it up just as quickly as it’s getting thrown down.
The Jet and Shark girlfriends will be throwing professional dancing at you in this production of West Side Story.
Choreography straight from Broadway will be gracing our stage in downtown Kankakee!
The classic, award winning choreography of Jerome Robbins for West Side Story will be recognizable to the fans in the audience.
